This unit explores culturally appropriate ways of engaging with Indigenous individuals, groups, communities and organisations. Including, working with Indigenous Australian people in remote, rural and urban contexts. It applies knowledge of Indigenous Australian perspectives, socio-economic issues, and experiences of institutional systems, ways of promoting self-determination, governance and reconciliation. -- Course Website
